Wilma's innovative studio - 10 miles south of Shetland's main town, Lerwick - has an enviable world reputation for its skillfully blended Fair Isle knitwear. Wilma captures the natural hues and rich contrasting colours of Shetland, producing original knitwear in all-natural fibres.

Shetland Designer is Wilma Malcolmson - one of Shetland's most influential and innovative designers. She established the business in 1982 after many years of considering and developing the complexities of the craft of Real Shetland Knitwear.
